| Our Recent Trip to Huanuco, Peru August, 2009 |
Rick and Janie recently made our first trip to Huanuco, Peru to visit the Andersons. Jim and Toni have been
working as missionaries in Peru for several years and in 2002 they established a children's home association there.
The association is called "Comunidad Cristiana Fe en Accion" (CCFA) (Faith in Action Christian Community).
The home is certified by the Peruvian government and they work with the Family Court judges and attorneys who
place girls in their care. These girls have all come from abusive homes and are in need of rescue. Jim and Toni ,
along with Lucila the caregiver and Emida the cook and helper give these children the love of Christ as well as a
safe home to live in and grow in.
We have partnered with this mission for the past year and a half. After visiting Peru we see that they need us now
more than ever.
Please pray about partnering with us in rescuing these girls and the many others that are still out there.
